The 24cm that is in this set is unavailable for individual purchase and is perfect for cooking this Hearty Minestrone guaranteed to warm you up just in time for winter
Hearty Minestrone
Ingredients:
-1 tbsp Oil
-1 Onion, finely chopped
-2 stalks of Celery, finely chopped
-1 Leek, finely chopped
-2 Courgettes, finely chopped
-1/2 Red Capsicum
-2 Carrots, chopped
-2 rashers of Bacon, chopped
-2 x 400g cans of chopped Tomatoes
-4 cups Chicken Stock
-1 tsp Sugar
-420g can Cannellini Beans
-1/3 cup Small Pasta
-Handful of fresh Parsley
Method:
-Heat oil in your 24cm Stoneline Pan and add onion, garlic, celery and leek stir until beginning to soften. Add bacon and cook for 2 more minutes
-Add other vegetables and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently until vegetables begin to soften
-Add tomatoes, stock and sugar and simmer for 10 minutes
-When the vegetables are tender add the beans, pasta and parsley and simmer for a further 10 minutes
